Bottle Logic Brewing Thread - Spring 2017

Anybody hear about the strip club the next block over sending a couple of girls to BL yesterday to, ahem, trump up biz? Got that from one of the security dudes.

 

Haze flux is 12oz pours now.. that earlier pic showed it as 6oz pours.. did it change?

 

I only saw cards from the place plastered on a bunch of cars.

 

I got a card from the girls themselves. Outside bl, on my way to my car.

 

I've found two dog hairs, both in separate pours today. So happy this is dog friendly...

 

Yeah leaving right now, seems like the perfect time as more parking opportunities, lines are minimal. When I went to collect my growler and pin there was nobody in line.

 

It's 6pm. No fucking lines at all. Pours took 2 mins. All core stasis beers still on tap. I love being lazy n doing these events.

 

Got there at 6:30, FO in hand at 6:40. It's still the best beer they make. I wasn't a fan of the apple brandy variant. Redeye Novemeber tasting great though.

 

Neither the regular, or Apple Brandy variants were what I'd hoped for. Maybe it's the rising cost of vanilla? But it seemed to pack less a vanilla punch as last years, same with FF.

But holy hell, am I glad this week is finally over with?

 

Got there at 9...no line and surprisingly was still able to get both FO and AB FO lol. Didnt they post about having only 5 kegs of them? How did they last so long?

Also Redeye 2017 was a pleasant surprise. Tasting wayyy better than 2016 batch. Lots of rye and roasty coffee.

Also hoping for Level 2! Thankfully this terrible week is over. Lmao...came every night this week around 9 and only had to wait for stasis for maybe 15 mins at most. Only missed out on Fundamental Summation but thankfully hitting bottles.

 

And now the real wait begins as they tally up the number of folks who participated in all seven days.

Break out the inflatable mattresses, it might be awhile.

 

Popped a bottle of Reaction State last night and the cinnamon was much more prominent than the draft version. Maple character was also stronger. Really enjoyed this one even though it does get a bit sweet towards the end of the bottle. Cheers!

 

I thought Bantha Milk was just okay, the aroma was great, taste not as much. Apple Brandy BA Fundamental Observation had too much clashing flavors and the vanilla was essentially killed off.

They stated they would be closed the sunday after Week of Logic.
