Yea I don't know about that. I've had an infected stout before and that's what this tasted like.

I just opened 1 of 2 bottles on Saturday, and thoroughly enjoyed it. No hint of sour cherries or any infection. Much better out of the bottle than on tap - much less sweet. I hope it's not all bottles - for your guys' sake.

Bottle that I had a couple months back was good, tap this past weekend was a little too sweet but still solid. Neither tasted infected at all. Have one more bottle in the fridge, hopefully it isn't infected either.

@bottlelogiclindsay I understand that the past 10 days has been crazy busy, but do you know if the QC team has been able to take a look at this as reports of infection are becoming more and more widespread?

They responded to me on IG and are looking into it and have verified they have received multiple emails on the issue. Told me that I should look out for a email response later this week.

Cool. Thanks for the heads up. I guess we will all look forward to their official answer fairly soon.

Just opened one after reading these reviews. I got the same thing. Lots of carb, tart sour taste. No nuttiness anymore.

    Popped a BV.

Brown-and-olive plumes of ghost, skull, and clown shaped gas clouds poured out in seemingly endless waves, emitting ear piercing shrieks that, I'm most terribly certain, could bring a mandrake to tears. I managed to re-cap just long enough to get to get the vile liquid to a drain. As it circled down, it cried "I'm not done with you. Not in a longshot buddddddy..."

Same experience I had on draft at BL, so, it doesn't appear all bottles are infected.

Good to hear not all are infected. Wish I was one of the lucky ones to get a noninfected bottle.

Hi All -- The brew team sent control bottles in for a full QA assessment today and we expect to have results to share with you by the end of the week.

Our whole team is so disappointed to hear about these poor bottle experiences, as your continued faith in the quality of our product truly is our ultimate priority.

We're developing a few different paths of recourse depending on what the test results show us, and as soon as we hear back I'll share the plan with you here.

Thank you for sharing your details!

Drinking a BZ right now, definitely not the beer it used to be. Slight cherry tartness, sweetness is gone. Ugh,

Drank a BZ I've kept in the fridge since pickup and it was "fine" (in that it was really, really, cloyingly sweet, with no carbonation issues or sour notes). I have another that's been cellared closer to room temp that I might have to crack soon to see if it's gone south.
