Thanks for the reminder, i need to stash one in the fridge tonight to try myself. Going to suck if it went south (hopefully not) I remember when agave maria had turned. boy that was a sad day.

Sounds like only some of the lot is infected, not all.

    Any updates for Byzantine?

My Byzantine was bad, nothing like it was on tap or out of the first bottle I had a couple months ago. Overcarbonated and had an off, sour taste.

I think they said they sent some samples to a lab to get them tested. They are awaiting results.

Opened a BV yesterday, overcarbed and definitely infected. It had been stored in the fridge since pick-up.

Seeing this type of response to a consumer concern is one of the reasons I will continue to seek out and drink Bottle Logic beer. A class act on all fronts.

I was bummed that I was sitting on two possibly infected bottles of BV but now I'm psyched that Bottle Logic is making it right and offering to swap them for Jam The Radar!

Good job bottle logic. Sad that I already pitched one bottle, but it was a was a mellow flavor, not a sour flavor. Glad they are making it right. Mostly I am sad though that I will never get that amazing nutty beer I had on tap again. It was unique and fantastic while it was fresh.

Yeah -- mad mad respect on how BL is handling the issue. Really awesome.

That said, I'm assuming jam the radar will more than likely be level 1 since it will be able to be swapped w Byzantine straight up. Also, hopefully they produce enough jam the radar to accommodate level up+ sale + Byzantine exchanges.

Wow so empty bottles are eligible too? That's awesome news!

Jam the Radar is unreal. Really happy to hear that we can swap the bottles.

Hmmmm, a refund or bottle swap of a potentially infected product for one that won't be.....and they get the highest of praises. Almost like I have seen this kind act done by other breweries before....weird.

Now while it is a great move to own up to a mistake and do what they can to make it right, and mad props to that, other places I am reading that this is the "best thing a brewery has ever done...ever". Which I find funny since they aren't the first, nor likely to be the last.

    hype boys are funny.
