Bottle Logic Brewing Thread - Spring 2017

I now see why they leaned away from a membership model. The entitlements. Not many brewery memberships/pre-sale groups get perks like canned beer. Neither Monkish nor HPB's "beer friends/Pre-pre" get access to pre-public sale cans.

I would not expect Bottle Logic to offer that to level up folks.

Add to that, not sure who they're using for their canning, but if other breweries who are canning have shown using those mobile canning lines, yields are about 100-170 cases. Even with limits like 2 4pks per person, that's not going to be able to handle last year's T3 membership numbers, let alone the potential tripling it did after WoL.

Bought a bottle of Byzantine Vision from Beer Revolution in Oakland. It tasted off last week and now I know why. Still have the bottle but won't be able to take up BL on its offer - still kudos to them for acknowledging the issue and doing its best to make things right.

 

The boys n girls at Bottle Logic generally know whozehu, so while the morons of the beer world might get over occasionally, like JJ and that shitzdip from the last FO dinner, you're better off playing it clean like most of us.

 

When are we supposed to hear back about Level Up status? I'm just assuming the worst and that my handwriting on my card wasn't legible enough and now I'll miss everything...

 

I'll have those out by the end of the day, though some of this handwriting is pretty spectacular. If you don't see an email by 6:00pm PST shoot a message in to [email protected].

2000 unique visitors that attended all 7 days?! That's insane. Well done BL. All around, it was a very well run shindig, I don't feel too bad that I was one of the 2000.

For someone that is ignorant about the price on BL stuff, what is actual retail on say.... FF, out of curiosity.

 

It was $25 IIRC.
