Just cracked a Ground State 2017, no, not infected. Delicious. But there was a nasty, snot-like, gelatinous mass at the bottom of the bottle that kinda turned me off to the rest of it.

@bottlelogiclindsay , have you guys seen or heard of this. I know it's most likely a harmless protein build up. But it was kinda gross.

Shouldn't be harmful, last beer I had like that was 13' Melange 3 from Bruery, it was still delicious but the floaters were a bit turn off.

Thanks for your note! This residue is coagulated grain protein that forms during the beer's time in barrels. The brew team does their best to drop these out of the tank and keep a watchful eye on the sight glass throughout packaging, but as our BA beer is usually unfiltered, sometimes a rogue protein mass escapes near the end of a bottling run.

While it's not harmful in the least (plop it in a cup of coffee, I won't judge you!), we understand that beer gummies aren't likely to be the next big thing. Shoot me a DM or an email via [email protected]!

Rogue Protein Mass, I'm calling dibs on using it as a band name.

$20 bucks says that isn't the "protein" that will come to mind though.

Jam The Radar ... assuming it'll be available for sale within the next two weeks based on the "welcome" Level Up email.

Per their byzantine vision statement it says very late april, but given that their swapping BV for JTR(May 1-31)I'm curious to how that's going to work. Must be anticipating on bottling a LOT.

They suggested it might not even see release based on how the swaps go.

seems from the post on this thread, it will go level up sales, followed by a BV swap period and then public sale.

HOSTILE INTENT UPDATE: Our cans are stuck in the Rocky Mountains! These other-worldly wrapped beauties were scheduled to be delivered today for tomorrow's mobile canning session, but it seems they're off terraforming other planets!

The October sale date listed on the Eventbrite site is just a placeholder -- there's a chance that the cans will still arrive tomorrow for a weekend sale, we're as (ok way, way more) anxious about this as you are, we'll keep you updated!

Down Down cans, thankfully, are already here and are ready for that sweet, sweet juice fill tomorrow! That sale continues as planned!
