    @bottlelogiclindsay

    Are you guys, or any brewery for that matter, in any way liable for the illegal reselling of your beer?

    Nope. Once the bottles are out of Bottle Logic's possession, whatever the buyer does with them after that is their responsibility.

    You sir, are the hero we need, but don't deserve right now.

    The best part was he didn't even get a bottle at the end. I bet he posted in the comments of a BL post.

    If a brewery is in no way liable for product that gets resold illegally, I've often wondered why they oppose it so staunchly. Seems like a waste of energy to me.

    I think it's more to do with them not wanting to encourage a secondary market for their products. It takes the fun out of it. Think of it as them sticking up for the little guy. I would guess most breweries want people to be able to get their brews legally and at a fair price, because the people that open and run breweries have the same passion as the consumers and see where they're coming from. If BL wanted to, they could've priced this sale at $50/bottle and it still would've sold out just as quick. They didn't, because at the end of the day, it's about watching people enjoy their beers and the memories and good times that go with that.

    I can think of several reasons, including reputation, QC, and loyalty to their customers.

    I'm also all for it. Kick out or ban as many bros who are only interested in turning a profit instead of drinking/sharing the beer. And while I'm sure the numbers they can find and ban is barely a drop in the proverbial ocean of resellers, and it probably won't have an effect on how quickly bottles sell out, personally I'd like to pretend that it does.

    Good God.
    "After years of being a mule for his friend. He decided he was going to branch out on his own and make some real money. He quit his job as a sign flipper, outside of T-mobile, and attended the Week of Logic.
    5 days, a break up, and eviction later; he managed to achieve 'Level Up' status. 'jam the radar' didn't go as planned. His one and only bottle was lost in an ill conceived plan to 'flip' it for cans of Monkish 'Blind Appt. Then the day came where it all came to end. Instagram and desperation to prove his ex-girlfriend and dad, wrong...."

    Are releases usually on tap the day after the release party? I can't make it Saturday but was hoping to grab a pour on Sunday.
