Yep, they said they'll have 8 kegs. Kegs are about 140 12oz beers, and they do 6oz pours of the Stasis releases. That's about 2,240 pours until they're cleaned out. These Stasis releases usually stay on tap for almost two weeks. You should be good.

I would believe this until I read that they're going to release only 200 bottles first come, first serve on 5/27. That's a move that will do nothing but generate hype and support the gray market. The people at BL are smart enough to realize that.

EDIT: I realized after posting this that it sounds cynical and even accusatory. I want to add that I respect the hell out of BL for not only electing to go the route of eventbrite but also continuing to try to find ways to make the releases smooth AND fair for everyone involved. But the move to release only 200 bottles in person seems questionable for a brewery that claims to not want to feed the hype. They saw how crazy things got at WoL. There's going to be a full on shantytown outside the place this Friday night.

I agree with all of this...mostly. Your reasoning is sound. But if they're ok with people trading the beer, then they can't really use QC as a reason to be against reselling. Remember when the Toppling Goliath fiasco happened a couple years ago with people recapping bottles of Assassin? That could easily happen with FunSum.

I thought the 200 first-come-first-serve was the glassware, not the beer itself...

What are the odds of the glassware moving quick? Didn't get any glasses with my bottles this sale and I would show up there on Saturday for in person, but I'll be in San Diego that day. Can't make it to the tasting room until Sunday.

Got 3 while playing golf, the app worked great. This was only the second time I actually remembered to log on and get them. If someone want to pay me 8,000,000,000,000 I got a bottle for you, otherwise I will drink them with or without a friend

You're absolutely correct. I disregard my previous statement and chalk it up to reading too quickly. My apologies.

Really tough to say, I was kind of surprised the 1300 sold out. People will add it to their bottles FT and the whole proper glassware trend changed the game a bit.

Left Right Left Right Eventbrite page is going up tomorrow. Still no word on when the sale itself will go live.

I would bet a lot of money it will be Friday at 5 pm or maybe 6. Like the last two releases.

Considering it says IPA on the can, it is pretty safe to say it will be.

How much of a shitshow should be expected Saturday morning for FS pickups? I am on the fence for just showing up right before opening, hoping to get a pour and bailing but it seems like with this release party and potential for a canned release it could get out of hand in a hurry.

It won't be too bad, they always do a great job for the release parties with 2 bars open and bottle pick ups in the other building. Showing up 15 minutes before opening is the best plan in my opinion.

I am sure it will busier than normal, but it still shouldn't be that bad. If you wait more than 10 mins for a pour I would be surprised. Bottle pick ups are normally in a different area.

Oh wow, that doesn't sound too shitty at all. I think I'll shoot for the 15 minutes early and hope for the best. Ideally I want to be home and at the grill in the afternoon.

The suggested pairing for Left Right Left Right is...PIZZA ROLLS!?

I don't know how to feel about his. On one hand, I do like them pizza rolls. On the other...do I really want to make them from scratch!?

I used to obey the can but now I'm questioning it. This is...troubling.
