Bottle Logic Brewing Thread - Spring 2017

That seems fair, it'll go up very quickly pre-sale, dip when people actually pick up the bottles and need to make rent, then slowly go back up as supply dries up.

 

I suspect the trade value will tank once traders flood the market, and people realize the volume of this 3rd batch is substantial.

 

stock up some Tree house , then trade a few cans for FOb3!

 

Unrelated to FOb3, but a bit of bad news for those of us who are enjoying the Campy Creatures series: I was told when picking up Titan that they're probably taking a break from canning after the last Konami Code IPA, so no more canned sours until probably October. Bummer!

Yea but that's what people say about vanilla rye. Still need beer peeps in Orange county to buy it with strict pickup rules.

 

Did anyone make it to Mikkeller DTLA to try batch 3?

 

I didn't, but I spoke with a few people who did and they said it was substantially better than b2.

 

Had... a lot of pours of it already from Mikkeller DTLA and it is tasting a lot more balanced and a lot more flavor forward right out of the gate. Now, I tried it on tap and my general rule is that out of bottle it's a lot better than out of tap, so my expectations of the bottle are through the roof because it did remind me a lot more of batch 1 from that first bruery anniversary party it showed up at. Which was the initial time I fell in love with it all those years back.

Completely solid in every possible way and whatever hype train that is inevitable with FO is well deserved because this batch is on point in so many ways.

 

With lofty praise like that maybe someone here will be brazen enough to ask for TWO Treehouse four-packs in exchange for a bottle!

completely agree. stopped by the tasting room tonight and really enjoyed it along with titans of Tokyo(much softer and better than anticipated) and cherry berlinear

 

Looks like some people will be running two rat races on July 9th. The glassware goes on sale an hour before Fundamental Observation itself now.

 

What good is the glassware if you get shut out on bottles? Pretend? Another reminder of you could of had it.

 

I mean, I'm STOKED about the glassware! I get my guaranteed bottle as a Leveled Up person, and I'd like glassware, even if I lose the refresh race for the other three bottles.
