Bottle Logic Brewing Thread - Spring 2017

I'm sure this has been asked several times and I searched this thread for "separate line" and "separate" and got no results...to satisfy the "it's been mentioned a hundred times!" guys. Skimmed through too...

I need to get in and out quick on Saturday with my bottle, how's the pours vs bottle pick up been working?

 

Bottle pickups are in a separate spot across the alley from the beer area. Once you enter, just go to the right where strategy guide rewards and bottle pickups are. Beer line is in the warehouse to the left.

 

Parking is kind of a bitch, code enforcement is driving around. Hardly any lines though.

So they are finally ticketing cars at the no parking anytime street? Well shit. I'll be parking at Jack in a Box then

 

Didn't see any cars getting ticketed since most were legit that I saw.

 

Different strokes I guess...but never liked BV...I rank it down there with PIYW

 

BV is definitely different, PIYW has been the only pumpkin style beer ive liked. Was gonna get that for a 2nd pour but went with another mxyzptlk. These collaborations are fantastic, the rest of 2017 should be a great year.

 

For real, I was like say what. These people are awesome.

 

So I was sitting outside around 1:50 today when the Monks posts went out, and no joke, around 8-10 people stopped what they were doing and started running to the exit. I'm sorry but this is getting pathetic.
One guy was so excited and screaming, "Foggier Window!". Srsly? What the hell is wrong with people? It was a nice touch as they walked by me that they were also excited for the fact that they had some good beers to drink on the way to Monks. smh.
I'm done. It's been a good run.

 

Mxy is some great tasting shit. Although I got a bone to pick with the pronunciation! Personally, I go with how they said it on the animated series where the s is like in yes and not like in is...yeah, that sentence makes sense.

 

I always knew him as Mix-il-plik for some reason... but later on decided mix-yiz-spit-lik sounded right to me. I think the S as in yes was from the Bruce Timm series though. However you pronounce it- that dude always gave me the creeps.

 

They ticketed hundreds of cars today. PD is fundraising.

 

Mxyzptlk was delicious.

A detail I really love about the glassware is the nucleation point. So sick.

 

Any idea what for? Anaheim PD SUV was stopped in front of my car parked on the street across from BL as I was leaving but thankfully they left. I didn't see any obvious signs as to restrictions or time limits.

 

If you go around the block, there are large stretches of the street that have no parking signs where people still park.

 

Oh, so it's not the PD fundraising it's the people being idiots. Read the signs, people! I read them every day. The world is ending in 121 days. Duh.
