I like to think they're gently sassing their neighbor brewery that is either charging people $50 for taster pours or forcing them to wait hours for cans this weekend...

I never have been to BL on the opening weekend of bottle pick-up, but I am driving down since I was able to score bottles. Now with the can release, no pick-up windows, and everyone welcome to come, it seems like it will be a major shit show to get bottles and pours. Am I wrong to assume this? Do people line up early to get in first thing?
I have been to BL and it isn't the biggest place with the most room, I don't get how they can accomodate a massive amount of people which is to be expected this weekend. Thanks for any insight to the process!

If I were a haze brah, I'd view the incremental cost as being worth it. I value several hours of my time at quite a bit more than the price premium charged for the ticketed event...

$22.09. Pretty high, but I think most people are willing to pay a couple bucks more to not wait in line.

Yeah, I refuse to stand in long lines for IPAs.

Will be interested to see what kind of unholy mess the tasting room will be like this weekend what with the cans n bottle releases n all.

Really? Going rate for these types of 4-packs is $20 ... so you are looking at an extra $2 ... is two hours of your time (standing in a shit show line) not worth the extra $2?

Nope. That's $2 I could've used to get some hot cheetos while standing in line n doing bt verticals with my homies.

When the lights get turned down n the music starts pumping and everyone is bumping into each other trying to hold on to their tasters of reaction state.. This is what you'll see..

I previously went to the Space Trace pickup event and it wasn't too bad. There were some people lined up when I got there around 15min prior to opening, and then a line that went out the door for pours. Easy way to get around this is to just snag a seat at the bar and have a bartender get your drinks so as to not have to keep waiting in that line. Bottle pickups were way in the back and can just be done later on your way out.

They usually do a separate pickup line in the backroom so that's easy if you only want to get your bottles/cans. Getting pours will be a shit show though. I went for FO pickup on release day and the pour line was 1+ hour for most of the afternoon. Heard it got down to 10-15 minutes after 9 pm though so if you went later it'd prob be okay.

I plan on going on Sunday after Noble, but I'm sure I won't be the only one.

Online sales will go live Friday evening as the mobile canning wraps up, limit two four-packs per person. Order pick-up will run from 3/4 - 3/5 ONLY. These games were made to play FRESH!

Increased production, online releases, separate line for bottle pick up, membership for locals, etc. -- BL definitely has great customer service.

They should use the storage space they've allocated for special limited edition teku glasses.
