For me, most of the days were in and out when I was just getting a stamp towards the back.

BL did just buy part of the building, so they have more space. Lindsey told us when we asked why she was all alone while picking up RS & GS.

It was busy last year during the WoL for sure, but I took the opportunity to stand in line and chit chat with others. Once I got my stamp, I went back for the pours of the day and found a spot to hangout and continue chatting with others. Really wasn't too bad. I do recall the days of the first WoL when you'd walk in around 4-5 and it would be wide open ha ha. Ahhh the early days.

My dude, trying driving from Thousand Oaks to Anaheim everyday like I did. Although, I now live in Los Angeles so it won't be quite a buttnumbathon this time around.

That is nuts, I do not understand how people have time for this.

Only 24 hours in a day for everyone, just a matter of what your priorities are. That being said, I'm glad Bottle Logic has switched to online sales so lining up for hours is no longer required to drink their beer.

For me, I went in the evenings long after work. It also helps that there's pretty much nothing to do in Thousand Oaks and I'm willing to drive four hours round trip to a brewery I've been going to since the day they opened. Also, I could always crash at a friend's or family member's place if I didn't want to make the drive back so there was that too.

I live in Simi where there is even less to do, which is why I live in Simi, I wouldn't drive to Enegren everyday for a stamp and that is like 10 mins away. Just not my priority, but to each his own. I was more surprised that they expect that many people.

That's dedication. I mean, I like beer. A lot. But if I'm putting in for a weeks vacation I think I might prefer to go on a vacation. Like, to Hawaii or something

So I guess the Hunahpu's Day beer list was just released. I'm hoping that the stuff BL is pouring there will also be at the WoL as well, but since I believe most were brewed at the collaboration breweries (except Jam the Radar), I don't know how much would get to CA:

Man I done goofed. I was able to purchase cans of up up but I guess I must have overlooked the part where pick ups were only until Sunday  For some reason just assumed I could still pick it up at least some time this week. Felt like a schmuck being told this today and then later reading the details again and seeing how it is laid out pretty plainly BY SUNDAY :grimacing:
For anyone that has experienced something similar, is BL pretty good about refunds in these cases?

Wonder if they can really keep the guaranteed bottle benefit with that kind of turn out

We did Hawaii last year. Went that Disney resort for like 7 days. Remodeling the house right now, so no big vacation this year...wait why the Fuck am explaining self to you? Put an egg in your shoe and beat it.

Everyone's life is different. I can sit here and shit on some billionaire for spending more than my house is worth on a car. To that person, it ain't a big deal.

I'm not taking a pay cut or risking my job by going. Kids are in day care in the day. So i figure, go early, and get home around the time wife gets back from work. I work like 7 miles from Monkish and still miss out on can releases because I put other stuff first. Not that week, though.

I also plan my vacations around beer. Most of the time it is to Huna Day or GABF. This year, assuming all of our planning falls into place, it will be Brewskival in Helsingborg. And if travel plans work out then I think I am being scheduled day 1 to pour and then attend day 2. Should be fun, especially if they put me behind the table of an american brewery that I know and can speak about if questions should arise.

Oh...and of course Copenhagen for War Pigs and Brussels to go drown myself in 3F.

It'll probably just end up dictating what gets bottle releases and what's kegged only. Maybe that's already why we never got Jam the Radar in bottles last year.
