Is it at least thicker than those watery BA MT's stouts?

    No.

To me, watery means diluted flavors. Far from the case with the walnut/honey/pistachio richness that makes BV a pretty tasty, unique beer. I really like this one.

then by your definition, MT BA offerings are FAR from watery.

Only had MT stouts a couple of times. One was outstanding; the other a BA cocao & coconut that was infected. Shit (not s.h.i.t.) happens.

Does anyone know if there is a facebook group or somewhere that folks interesting in trading/acquiring bottle logic stuff? Im here in florida and a big fan of BL, I did about 10 IP trades when I was out in nov so I have all the beer from last year just trying to get the 2017 releases.

I would check Rare Beer Seeker and Beer Trading 101 on Facebook. Those are two pretty large national trading groups - there should be quite a few people on there with BL to trade.

I'm not sure on that note - the only one out west that I'm aware of is the Monkish Trading Forum.

I finally had the German Chocolate Cake Stout and thought it was amazing. I had it at a restaurant, it was their "seasonal" stout. Is this something that BL has often? Is it ever bottled? I would love to get as much of it as I can.

They bottled the bourbon barrel aged version, "Space Trace". The non-BA one was draft only. Try to get a hold of a bottle of Space Trace, it's fantastic.

Hopefully bottle counts for Ground State are similar to Darkstar November

Do bottles have to be picked up at the brewery or is there an option to ship within CA?

    shipping option... hahahahahahahahahahaha

To be fair, it was a great move for them to even consider the eventbrite method. So asking for them to get in to the shipping game is just asking too much.
