    Reporting:

Got back about 40 min ago. I was in and out within 15 minutes. Got my 3 bottles and my stamp. No wait for bottles; the stamp took longer. The place was still packed and popping and there were lines for all the one-off brews. If you're like me and only interested in the bottles and stamps, it's probably best to wait till after dinner to head over.

Ground State out of the bottle is solid.

Got my three bottles of Ground State. Bottle line was approximately 45 minutes. The line for passport and pours for Ground State another 45 minutes. German chocolate cake on nitro was good. Ground Control lots of coffee but the vanilla......?
Before you all start flaming me I understand this is not Fundamental Observation.

That sucks... Glad I didn't waste time and money trying on tap. I'm getting vanilla from the bottle.

I felt almost the same way. But I only had it on tap. And BL pours their beers way too fucking cold.

I got there around 9:30, no line. Got bottles and bailed, still pretty packed inside. Didn't even try...

There wasn't that much left when I went by, not sure exactly though. According to their IG, anything that didn't sell today will be available tomorrow.

Actually, I think the offer was for 2 bottles for that price. Haha.. I guess some of these craft beer crazies need to make a living somehow.

Since there isn't going to a bottle release other than the leftover Ground State, I wonder if the place will just be as packed as yesterday.

I also saw a bottle sold at $125 earlier in the day !

    The coffee was too strong?
I actually thought it wasn't heavy coffee like regular speedway stout or MT beers. I love coffee, but don't love heavy coffee forward beers.

I agree that once GS opened up, it tasted better.
We could taste vanilla in the finish.

At 9:15 it was crowded inside, but the line to get pours of GS was about 2mins. Missed out on the banana bread beer, sounded delicious.

It was a mess. You didn't miss out on much. The nose was great but the beer itself wasn't that good.

Must of been a small batch. My wife was wanting to try it, she loves beers like that. She's not into beers in general.
Gotta keep the DD happy !

Sounded like a typical beer with banana esters and a bunch of spice. Plus there was no way I was getting back in that beer line.

You stated it perfectly, Josh. If the beer tasted like it smelled, it would be fantastic...
