WTF is this non sense. How are we supposed to know if we want it or not.

It seems to be a hit on untappd. Not many details on tasting notes obviously, but a few exciting words; "funky" and "sour" are being thrown around.

No line for bottles atm. I was on the fence about coming down today but Im glad I did. Some assembly is actually a really good beer. The pineapple and wine notes really stand out. Not overbearingly sour. One of the better saisons I've had. Really enjoyable.

Florida said it was good, and Florida only likes Florida.

So apparently they will be expanding into the space next door (behind the bathrooms/bookshelf) by summer. SUPPOSEDLY before the FO release. That will hopefully make it a little less crazy in there.

Also, as of about 8:00 pm they had given away a little over 700 bottle openers for the tier one prize. If the rest of the week is the same, those three FO blending sessions will be pretty crowded...

Heard from one of the staff members that they will have multiple pouring stations for FO during the weekend. Hopefully it will help a bit.

I imagine Saturday is going to be a shit show and yeah, that blending party is going to be... hmmmm.. fuck... yeah... that's going to be a mad house given how many folks seem to be going the distance - but can you really blame them? I lost count on how many times different people around me were talking about the FO dinner as if it was something that tickets were going to go on sale this weekend and as something they were dead set on getting.

Walking around the building, you can see the progress of the expanded tasting area room. It's still has some ways to go in terms of construction, but it's coming along. The dinner is going to be a bit bigger and at a different location this year, but it's still going to be essentially a pipe dream to get in to. Especially how fast the Darkstar November one sold out in.

Do you know if the dinner is tied to the blending event at all?

Supposedly the dinner is not tied to the blending event. At least their prior posts said something to the effect of, "We've been so busy with the Week of Logic, that we haven't had time to think about the FO release and dinner."

I do think it would be great if only the people who went to all seven days and/or the blending event were eligible to buy tickets to the dinner. Sort of an extra layer of award. I know it won't happen, but it's nice to daydream some times.

A whole lot of wishful daydreaming sort of thinking. Let me just help you out here - Stop that.

The dinner is not tied tot he blending party and the blending party, as of current, sounds simply of taking samples from various of the barrels and the treatments.

Realize that unless Bottle Logic has specifically stated it, they're not going to fulfill said item. It's a sure fire recipe of getting let down.

On the positive side, they did increase production of it this year, have so many different barrels of it and do plan to expand the dinner. But given the last dinner was only 70 or so seats, I wouldn't expect the future one to be increased to a level that would make an impact in meeting the demand that folks have created for said event.

I am curious as to how their own online purchase system would work, especially since they currently don't have one for their merch, it's going to be a bit of a concern to have its second or third stress test on FO batch 2.

Jesus! That is insane. Hopefully it's slow tonight. If it's as busy tonight as it has been, then I don't think it will slow down considering the rest of the releases coming up.

In the last page of the passport, it says "Once you've unlocked Tier Three, this completed passport entitles you to an additional bottle beyond the advertised limit at all of our Stasis Project 2016 releases".

To my understading, this means that we will be able to purchase an extra bottle at all releases this year. Im assuming future releases, right? I dont think they'd bring out more Ground State bottles and let me buy another one

Hehehe, this is happening, but I won't wear a jersey because I don't have one and don't feel like getting into a drunken argument with anti-hawks fans. =P

You and I both know you will forget your coin. But hopefully you can bail from the office and waste the day away in lines with us.
