Hype? FO has long left the realm of hype.

Shhhh, youre not supposed to talk about the beer, youre supposed to talk about how little time you spent not going.

This isn't FO '16, this is one of the barrels that FO '16 was aging in (FO - W.L. Weller). While the same base flavors will be present, the final product will be fairly different after all four barrels are blended together into the final FO '16. I'm sure people will "ZOMG SO AMAZING JUST 'CAUSE IT'S FO!!," but it's a little misleading call it FO '16, when that's not the case.

I had 2 of the 4 barrels at the 2015 Week of Logic (couldn't sit around for 2-3 hours until the other 2 were tapped unfortunately) and thought that individually they were better than the final mixed product. I kinda hoped they would do some single barrel bottle "variants" this year in addition to the final mix, but that's highly unlikely.

The line was pretty much to the brewery's driveway about an hour ago. Everyone's more waiting for their passport stamp than the FO pour.

Can you even really talk about the beer at this point? This is a single barrel version of it. Final will be at least 4 blend version.

I remember at Bruery Anniversary, it was tasting amazing. In fact, was the main reason why I wanted to go to the FO dinner, that took days to sell out. Come to find out that the FO poured at Bruery anniversary was a 2 blend version. The final four blend version was not as great and I was curious as to why.

So yeah, don't judge the beer by a single barrel of it.

I came in early, and the setup today was pretty good.
Waited a long line to get the 7th stamp, but it wasn't bad - drinking beer and chatting with people.

Might have been rough if you got there late.

Only mistake I made was getting both pours when I got there. Should of had my wife get her pour later, as the sunshine wouldn't keep FO cold.

I loved that FO taste quite smooth for 14.3%

Later wasn't a problem. Came for the end of the first keg... stayed for the second... no line for passport stamp when I got there and pretty much unlimited pours of FO. Had the 6th right before the second keg kicked. Was pleasantly surprised by everything.

This...I missed the first keg but had 6 pours of FO from the second one. Super smooth process with minimal fuss. Overall a great week from Bottle Logic and I'm happy I was able to go everyday!

I still say the single barrel buffalo trace was the best version of FO. It was so damn good!

Went yesterday because I had to pick up Bruery stuff. In line at 11:30, in the fenced area around 12:40ish. Grabbed my pour of 1/4FO and remained unimpressed (never enjoyed '15FO from the bottle so meh..who knows). Passport line was fun to watch not move for hours. Had Ground State (now that beer was delicious). Grabbed the Jolly Randall, flavor was perfect for what they were intending just not my cup of tea. Also had their strawberry berliner which was perfect for the sun and hot asphalt we were on.

Never been to Bottle Logic prior to this so it was enjoyable. I plan on returning so I can see the inside. Now off to get trade ***** trying to get a couple more Ground State bottles.

I was very tempted to hang around for the 6 pm FO keg. If I had known I could have multiple pours...

FO '16 is how Bottle Logic themselves referred to the FO we drank on Saturday.

What was the price per bottle for the Ground State? Couldn't find anything on the release details.
