Very easy, looks like it's not a "popular" beer though.

I bought two on the regular sale and then went back to buy my T3 bottle just to make sure it worked. Everything went through very smoothly. Thanks BL!

 

Did they ever say how many they bottled after all?

I have no idea, I'm sure someone in here can chime in. After refreshing it after my purchase checkout at 12:01 it was at 1600+

 

I was wondering that and couldn't find an answer.

 

Tried it yesterday at Sabroso and was impressed - grabbed 3 bottles without any hassle.

10 minutes later and I still can't get tickets for The Broad in June.

 

That was easy.. Eventbrite showed ~3500 bottles available when I originally purchased and looks like it's now down to ~1000

 

If they bottled 4k thats not a bad amount for a couple minutes worth of sales.

 

Went quick and easy. I think people above are correct in that tequila barrels spooked some buyers (Roble blanco cough) however if they simply called this Double Barrel LB it would have been a 5 second sellout.

Hopefully this makes BottleLogic cool with the online sales again, this was great but I'd have to imagine the FO sale generating 10-20x the interest. People will likely fly out to pick up bottles (considering they are paying $250+ on the black market for one)

IF there main priority is getting bottles to locals easy peasy. And with FO going to be a huge gather. Make the window even to 3-4 days. I could see them dropping the limit to 2 on it as well.

 

Very easy! I wonder if they planned to do the release the same day as the bruery anniversary party.

 

A little surprised there's still plenty of bottles remaining. From what I hear from those who tried it at the festival yesterday, those who haven't reserved their 3 bottles yet are missing out.

All this hate on tequila barrels and it makes me wonder, if Firestone does another batch of PNC will people not buy that too? I really hope so, I'd love to have a cellar full!

 

Last time I was up at Barrelworks, they mentioned that they wanted to try to get the band back together for another go at it.

I'm down to my last bottle of it and, by god, that sucker is fantastic regardless if I don't usually like tequila barrel aged beers.

Yeah, at the anniversary week thing, leche borracho was tasting solid. Whatever, I'm glad it didn't blow up. Was on the road while it went on sale and only remembered it was past noon when I gassed up near 1pm and still was able to get bottles. So solid plan not opening this up to proxies.

 

Seriously, that shit is so good! I've hated every tequila beer other than PNC but keep trying them in hopes that some other brewery is talented enough to find the Magic FW was able to with that beer. Guess it's Bottle Logics chance, I hope they are up to the task!
