BL hedged their bet and added a BBA component so they didn't go "full tequila barrel". I have no doubt that this will be another excellent BA beer from them.

It seems like that might be a little rushed since there's only one hour per session. Get you in, get four sips, get out.

But, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that they can do something great. Looking forward to it! Who's going to what session?!

 

Sorry for being uninformed, but are these emails only available to T3 members and is this event only for a tasting or a full FO bottle release?

Yes. Only T3 people are getting these emails. Its not a full bottle release. I believe thats in June. This is a blending event. I'm guessing we'll be tasting all 4 barrels of FO

I figured with 900+ people, it would be a very limited amount of time. Sure two hours would be incredible, but one hour is more than enough.

The question is what time would be best....the earliest.. Or the latest. If you select the latest, maybe they won't kick us out at that allowed time??? No one is coming after them.

its a blending/tasting session where they tell you about the barrels they use and how much really goes into blending FO, and then you get to vote on your fav blend.

 

I doubt that they're just going to be pouring freely towards the end since this is all the components to the final blend. Soooo, the more they pour, the less they have for that maximum production numbers.

 

And I believe they said that there will be cheese pairings as well. I also think an hour is too short, but it should an awesome time nonetheless. I think I am shooting for the breakfast blending session (11am) Cheers

 

900+ Tier 3 members? That's a jamma lotta expensive beer - free.

 

No problems with my purchase yesterday. Quick and easy. One thousand times better than standing in line with an unemployed dude and his girlfriend, two sisters, mother , and cousins. Thanks for always trying to make it better Bottle Logic.
