IG reports a lottery will likely be the method utilized for the next sought after release.

LOL @ having a checkbox to say that you are not going to illegally resale bottles. As much as I love Bottle Logic, some of the decisions they make are complete nonsense.

I wonder how many friends and family tickets were sold during resale?

There was never a question of whether this dinner was going to sell out even at $140 plus cost for up to a case of FO. There are people that spend upwards of 5 figures a year here in SoCal via various memberships and special sales. This is a drop in the bucket!

I wonder how many people in certain FB groups clicked the box with crossed fingers behind their back.

The checkbox thing was silly. Can't stop people from reselling.

Or complaining. This place is reasonably chill, but Facebook... wow. I don't want to be eating dinner or drinking beer within earshot of many of the people that tried to get tickets.

No fancy dinner should ever serve a stone fruit salad as a course, unless they were doing it whimsically. But I guess this is dining in Orange County

Everyone that got lucky enough to get a ticket have a blast. Would of loved going with my Fiancee, but running 7 devices on 2 separate Internet connections didn't work today.

I'm not sure how it works, but I hit the "Get tickets" right at 12 and a couple times after to get the pop up saying they weren't on sale yet. I then refreshed the main screen and then clicked on "get tickets" got the ticket availability. I appears you have to refresh first, then click the get tickets link.

I looked at FB, it's unreal. People are fucking idiots.

So much to-the-bone vindictiveness. It's not like everyone didn't know that chances of getting a ticket were slim and 'you gotta be kidding me' small.

Am I the only one that thinks it is pretty misleading that Bottle Logic stated 120 tickets would be going on sale at noon on Sunday, but there were NOT 120 tickets (bottle logic confirmed)? Looking at social media (at what remains not deleted) it seems a lot of people canceled plans and spent their sundays glued to their PC's and phones to make time for this sale; and in fact there were never 120 tickets available at noon...

EDIT: before any of you jump to become "superman defendman", I am just saying, they said a certain amount of tickets were to be sold at noon, but in fact, tickets were sold out of the 120 to connected individuals before the pulic sale.

60 seats per session != 60 tickets per session. I'd be shocked if you've ever been to an event that didn't have tickets earmarked for VIP or special guests. I understand the frustration because they're so limited, but my point is that I don't believe BL ever stated an exact number of tickets for public sale, only seats in each session. Hell I'm frustrated at not getting a ticket too, but FB is a cesspool of entitled children and shouldn't be taken as fact.

Would people have done anything differently if they were told that only 80 tickets were available for purchase, rather than 120? And really, if you cancelled plans to try to buy tickets, that's on you. It's a two minute thing, you either get them during the half second they're available or you don't, there's no need to sit around for hours.

Does it really matter? How many people tried getting tickets? A thousand? An extra twenty seats hardly improves your chances. If people knew 20 seats were already spoken for, would they have altered the frequency of their F5ing?

What do you mean? You don't know you need to sit and be frustrated for the 3h, which followed the said half-a-second?

They did IN FACT state the exact number of tickets (plus stated no promo code needed).

HA HA, The entitlement is really off the rails here. You folks realize that in past dinners they also had seats earmarked for friends/family, only they didn't post about it. I guess less information will be the route to go next time.

This really doesn't surprise me though. I can't say that I sympathize with them, but I definitely don't pity them. Every dinner/event has VIP tickets and whatnot, that is a given.

It all comes down to entitlement again. I got tickets (even though I said I wasn't) from my phone without WiFi. Maybe I'm just lucky. Their FB page is comedy right now.
