Bottle Logic Brewing Thread

Can anyone comment on how this beer tastes?

 

Drank a bottle a couple days ago, it's pretty damn good and I hate pumpkin beers.

It's good. The best pumpkin beer I have had.

 

Had a friend described to me the joys of waiting in line with some beer bros. Someone asked another guy if they were going to buy any Black Tuesday and the person responded "Nah, I can't trade that shit."

And another peach of a person apparently asked my friend if he was going to buy up his full allotment and if not, could he pay my friend to buy more bottles for him. My friend decided to buy his full allotment just to spite the guy.

 

Well, I mean, BT does trade for shit now...

 

And so it begins, the first FT is up... <sigh>

 

CraftE had one up earlier ISO: HF Ipas.

 

Well, standing next to the sister of the fella who hired those day laborers to stand in line, she and her clearly completely uninterested in anything beer that isn't in a 40oz bottle said that he hired them to be the first few people in line because he was having a Halloween party and wanted a massive amount of this Pumpkin beer.

Now, they weren't illegals, since you had to have a valid ID to get your tickets. But they didn't understand English very well.

So that's a creative spin. Basically going to Home Depot and getting some day laborers to wait in line for you. Funny enough, they really didn't run out of the tickets they were handing out as long as I was there at around 5:15 or so and still had a solid stack of them.

 

Anyone can get an ID.

 

I happened to be in town on business and wanted to drop by Bottle Logic for a quick drink. Pretty excited to see there was a bottle sale. No problem getting in line at 5 and picking up an allotment.

Went inside and grabbed a pour after a quick drop to the car. Going to agree with:

Prominently but not overly spiced with a round finish from the barrels. Only criticism would be that it was a little thin, but still extremely happy I bought my full 4.

I'm impressed with the last few releases, especially considering they've had to follow up their clear homerun Fundamental Observation.

 

Just was too thin for my taste. :shrug: I was enjoying their Pumpkin Pie both on CO2 and Nitro over the Picture if you will.

 

Bottle Logic has 50 bottles left and doing the 4 per person. So go out and pick up your Home Depot day workers early or you'll miss out!

Must've thought it was a PVW Vanilla BA pumpkin beer...

 

Right after BL opened at 4 today, there were about 15 people in line and we were told, 40 bottles available, not 50, 4 pp. Presuming they are now right out.

 

It's an ok beer. As mentioned above by @Earlycsquid, a bit too thin.

 

Their FB page is where the 50 bottle number came from. :shrug:

How many of those 15 in line looked like they could cut and install tiles? I need to redo my kitchen floor.

 

i'm curious how much you pay a dude to stand in line. you think they pay by the hour?
