Bottle Logic Brewing Thread

My brother happened to walk in to TW HB and saw several dudes standing around the counter waiting. He asked what was up and one of the guys told him what it was. He called me and asked if I wanted a bottle.

He got something like the 11th ticket out of 12 they handed out. Both bottles of FO I got were by happenstance.

 

What a strange world we live in where people are willing to follow around delivery trucks in order to buy a bottle of beer.

 

Can we go back to beer now...any of you had the new dipa? I'm planning on stoping by later today to check it out

 

Not super weird...there have been ambulance chasers for decades hoping for a quick pay day. This just seems like a step towards that direction for those individuals.

 

It was solid, but I wouldn't say it was very "east coasty". I think haze shift was a little better.

 

Im tempted to try and make my own week of logic. Open up a DS, FO, GS, PD and Leche over a week.

 

How many people have been lined up since dawn wanting to get in? Oh wait, that'll only be for the FO day...

I didn't get to try Hazeshift, but I am currently having Hazeflux.

While it's not really NE juicy, it's good and worth a try.

 

Shift > Flux for sure but both are super tasty. Shift is WAY more juicy though.

 

Agreed. Flux, while good, has a lot more of that classic west coast bite to it. So if you're going for that sort of East Coast hazy, the shift is where it's at.

 

Both very good and what makes them taste even better is I could walk in and get a fill, no lining up at 9am necessary!

 

Has anyone experienced gushing Leche Borracho bottles? I just opened one and it came out all over my dining room table. It's been temp controlled the entire time I've had it. Also, no off flavors. Just lots of gushing. Thanks.

 

I did. Cracked one at FWIBF bottle share and lost about 1/4 of the bottle. Tasted perfectly fine though. I chalked it up to me mishandling it and shaking it since I was mostly drunk.

 

Same happened to me last weekend. Opened a bottle of leche Borracho and gushed for a bit but tasted fine

 

I had no gush on the bottle I opened last weekend. Really, really tasty, and really glad I had someone to share it with, you know, because diabeetus.

 

Gushing bottles? Well, now I have something to look forward to when I eventually open mine.

 

It's luck of the draw. I've popped a couple LB bottles since the release and they were great!
