Anyone know if FO is still pouring at Iron Press? May be able to swing by there for lunch...

I don't know if anyone else caught this on the EventBrite site, but it looks like BL will also be doing a brewery membership club sometime in the *near* future.

No dates or other info given (just an email sign up). It's probably super early in the process, but personally, as a member of a few other brewery clubs, I'd respectfully suggest that they take a long hard look at Modern Times' League of Partgoers and Elegant People for a club done exceptionally well. Especially for a *smalller* size brewery. The benefits are awesome, it makes you really feel like a part of something great, the customer service is top notch, all of which really brings about a greater sense of customer loyalty and participation. Just my two cents @bottlelogiclindsay . :grinning:

Interesting about MT, I think I might bow out of the league after this year. Don't get me wrong, Jacob is great and the beer they make down there is quite nice but I rarely have gotten much benefit from membership. In general I think almost every beer has made it to public sale so not much would have been missed aside from quantity. There isn't really a discount (*actually additional charge if you bought BAMP online instead of at TJ... but that has been somewhat corrected). But mostly, I have come to realize I am too far north (OC) and not up for weekly trips to SD so I don't get enough growler use and frequently miss the weekday preview parties (That is on me).

I am in OC as well, so I don't get down there as often as I would like either. Which admittedly sucks since I don't get to got to the weekday stuff I'd like to go to, but having the ability to buy more, a private sale, etc. makes it still worth it to me.

However @Buck86 consider if you were to essentially transfer all of the MT League stuff directly to Bottle Logic for instance, or if MT were located here in OC instead of SD, would that change your mind?

Wouldn't asking for the last 4 digits of Drivers License suffice?

Yeah, I am coming to realize I reached too wide w/ Bruery HS, MT League and Libertine this year. Additionally in general I have been reevaluating my spending and w/ the gnarly cellar I have amassed I think I can sit out quite a few releases moving forward and hope to try things at shares/events. If it came with a decent discount, I'd probably consider BL while dropping MT and Libertine (brother at Libertine as well, they make great wilds) but in my opinion I get a lot of value from the Bruery HS and will hapily continue to support Patrick & co. All in all I think I'm ready to hang up the hype chasing shoes and enjoy whatever great IPA/sour/stout is readily available (or do some cellar diving) and a reasonable price. That said, I won't hesitate to jump on the top tier things like FO, DDG etc when they roll around but my goal is limit gambling on untested products.

We move from the Eventbrite website for purchases to the Eventbrite app to scan QR codes for pick up -- nothing gets printed. ID numbers will be used in conjunction with the rest of the registration data to cull double orders right from the event management side of Eventbrite, further omitting any need to print or store data.

Will you be verifying that the ID number someone enters is what's actually on their card at the time of pickup, or are you just checking for duplicates once the sale is over?

Let's be honest, is it really ever complaining over something anyway?

I appreciate these measures. Only wish the lotto was earlier so that those of us that live far far away could make plans sooner. But I get the preference for locals.

    Wish me luck!

T3 email went out. Be sure to read it carefully so you don't go blaming BL when you forget to buy your guaranteed bottle, your computer explodes, or some other such calamity!

On the EventBrite site for the FO sale it asks if you want to be on the mailing list of info regarding a membership program in the future.
