    Rare 15 was actually BCBS 2014. It aged for 2 years, so it was prior to the infection batch.

    It's my understanding from all the various threads, podcasts, etc. that this detail is irrelevant. The contamination happened in the transportation, not in the brewing, and thus anything transported could have been exposed. That said, there's never been any infection that I have ever seen linked to Rare or Regal.

    You are correct, but since it was brewed the year before and racked in separate barrels, and thus a different beer, it was also transported separately than the BCBS 15 and variants.

    I opened a rare last week and it was delicious. A few years has done it wonders.

    Last summer I did:

    My Maman 17 + Darkness 16 + Saison du Ble b7 + Biere du Pays b6 + Sump 17 for FF + FO b3
