$30 is pretty much what you would've paid at Bottle Logic for a bottle + glassware ... good work Eureka ... it's funny though, people are STILL F'ING COMPLAINING - this time saying they'd rather have the price higher so it doesn't sell out as quickly ... LMAO :stuck_out_tongue:

I paid $32 for a consume bottle with no glass in San Diego, and I'd do it again without batting an eyelash.

I told my girlfriend we're getting pours tonight at Eureka and I linked her the instagram posting.

She says back to me: Do you want me to go line up for a bottle after work?

    I think she's a keeper!

Truth but the fact that they are a "collaborator" so i would expect the price to be in line with the release at Bottlelogic....just my opinion though. I back their decision to lower the price though.

Oh, I'm not familiar with them having a collaboration relationship.

Eureka HB 24 bottles of FO for sale at 6pm. $30 includes bottle and a $9 glass. Unfortunately when I called at three there was already 6 people in line. However they will be tapping a keg of FO! Wish I wasn't working tonight. It really is that good, so don't trade your bottles!

From what I understand they "collabed" on the beer by providing barrels for them to age it in. That was it. Not sure how true that is but that would explain why the bottle doesn't even mention them.

I saw a flyer online from the HB Beerfest from last year and under the brewery names was Eureka/Bottle Logic. Weird.

They had 22 bottles for sale. At exactly 5pm, there were 20 people in line.

If you showed up at 5 on the dot, you still would have been able to get a bottle.

If people are saying bottles have a more vanilla taste, bottle logic definately didnt skimp out. I don't know if my sinuses were clogged at the release but having a few pours here at Eureka!, there is plenty taste/smell. It be tough to make me think about trading my last 2 bottles, plently of vanilla but not overly sweet at all.

I had thought it was Jazz from El Cerrito who got the barrels. I guess the Eureka thing makes more sense because I couldn't figure out what they contributed if they weren't the ones providing the barrels.

Didn't even realize they were a part of it but it also makes sense rereading the description on the bottle...

Which, is just another example of the people behind this beer had little to no faith that it was going to be what it ended up being. El Cerrito provided them pappy barrels for Taps and look at how much of a stake they have in that game.

It's completely mind blowing at how cursed this beer is that every attempt to do something with it, other than it tasting great, has been one giant misstep after another. Eureka tried to use that hour between when tickets were sold and when they released the beer to the buyers as a means to up sell you into buying food so hard. Got asked if I wanted anything more at least every 5 minutes.

I really want to see a sort of Ken Burns documentary at all this, cause it's funny as all shit.

Either way, got another bottle as part of the HB Eureka easiness (showed up at 4 something) and glassware.
