You're so absolutely convinced, without ever having laid hands or eyes on the thing, that it's totally wrong. OK then.

I do this for a living, I've seen hundreds of draft systems.

If the beer is not pouring correctly then yes, having not seen the system I can tell you the system is wrong. Yes, I am certain of it. It is not an opinion. By your own admission the beer from kegs does not pour very well.

So they have a keg problem or the have a draft system problem, or both. I get paid to fix that. I know, sounds crazy but true.

    Cheers

Agree with this as well, but the mark-up kills me. Was at a local brewery and had $7.00 draft pours of a DIPA and was paying $8.25 a can for an Imperial Stout, which was $5.50 for takeaway.

I work at a brewery with 18 taps and we have regulators for each line, and we ain't fancy!

Our keg cooler is 20 yards away from the taps so we push the beer with a blend of CO2 and Nitrogen to keep beer in the lines from getting over carbonated. We also have a 1/2 hp glycol chiller that keeps the lines cold to prevent foaming. I wouldn't say having individual regulators is rare. An imperial stout and a cream ale should have different carbonation levels. You wouldn't want them set to the same psi.

A taproom without taps? Interesting but I'll pass.

Isn't 'tapless' the Boston pronunciation for those Gentlemen's places?
