I'm hosting my first bottle share event in a few weeks. I have no idea what to serve these folks.

I'm here for any ideas and suggestions please.

Depends on whether you want to focus on the beers or the social aspects of having a party.

If the latter, just lots of finger foods, a variety of cheeses, etc.

If the former, unsalted crackers or unsalted pretzels and lots of water (preferably unchlorinated spring water).

If you have a pretty mixed group as far as their goal for being there goes have both and let them make the choices.

No matter how serious the group, I like to have some actual food around. Charcuterie, hard cheeses (harder cheeses tend to have less lingering after tastes), good crusty bread and solid olive oil are my usual go to's. Lots of water is a must.

Finger foods work well at tastings. Fruit and vege trays, sliced meat and cheese, artisanal bread, pretzels, nuts. If you want to go big, grill steaks.

Is there a theme to the bottle share as far as beers are concerned? OR do you know what beers people are bringing? That may help influence what food items to serve.

I love to cook so I usually serve salty finger foods based on a theme of my choosing, like Asian or middle eastern
