Brendan... do want us to bring our own glassware for the BS today?

Oh okay! If it would be alright with you guys! And I'm not completely beer-less. I've got 5/14 Pliny, 5/17 Elevated IPA, and the most recent batch of Damnation if there's any interest in those? Not sure how much RR is available around town but maybe the Elevated?

Tom- no worries. Bring whatever you feel like...no pressure at all.

John- I have 24 snifters and some 5 oz tasters for those who don't want to use their own glasses. More than welcome to use those.

And just to clarify, no beer on-tap here will be available until we open on Wednesday...so no need to worry about feeling any obligation to purchase anything here today.

Correct. In the Grand Central Building right next to Subway. Paper is still up on the windows, but come on in.

I'm new to the area but this sounds like a lot of fun. I've got an 07' Abyss and a Backyard Rye if there is room for one more.

Both Amanda and I had a blast! Loved seeing everyone and was amazed at the bottle selection. I'm thinking this will be a hopping place and I'll be sure to spread the word on the best place around for growlers! Thanks for having us

Chelada was the only thing that could tame the Mainer Weiss

I actually like the Chelada as well. It is like virtually exactly like drinking liquified cocktail sauce. Who knew?!? And I love the look of the Growler Guys (the place- the guys themselves I won't judge).

Thanks for being excellent hosts. Your location looks great, and I can't wait to see the place fully operational.

As for that Chelada, I probably won't have it again, but it wasn't nearly as bad as the reviews made it sound.

Well, make that 3 for 3 on the Chelada. I didn't think it was half bad either (probably because there was virtually no sign of the base beer in it), especially considering that I was expecting to absolutely loathe it.

Otherwise, just an amazing selection of beers on Saturday, and I want to thank Brendan not just for hosting the event, but for all the pizza he provided, and some of the growlers he had on hand as well (the Kane porter was quite tasty). Good luck with the opening this week, and good luck with operation of the new GG.
