I live in the New Haven area and I am always looking for shares. Any place/s you know does it regularly?
I live in New Haven as well. I am not aware of any bottle shares like that. New Haven Beer Collective, NEBCO, and Counterweight are all places where you'll find lots of craft beer people hanging around though, so that's a good place to strike up some conversations!
In Branford here, I think Overshores via the 12% project were allowing a bottle share at the brewery prior to one of their releases. I attended one at Delaney's (RIP) as private event. Maybe some folks who were regulars there can give a lead. But I agree there are good places to ask around, I am sure you can find folks to start doing one on a semi regular basis....maybe you can organize one?
I was at Overshores/12%/Evil Twin today and the line share was great. Opened at 11am and everyone in line was pouring bottles and sharing. I definitely recommend going to the next release!
In New Haven as well, always looking for a good bottle share! There used to be one that met at Caseus. Lots of good wine tasting groups, though! Da Legna, Coffee Pedaler. . .
I have my own share in Hamden. I am open to organizing of course but sometimes it's nice to be a participant. I'd be down to do share with fellow BA-ers.
I went to 12% too and it was chill. I wasn't in the mood for share but I was able to taste some de Garde. Too bad I missed out on Jeppe's bottles.
