Hey everyone, Just moved to Lawrence from North Carolina and wanted to see if there were any regularly occurring bottle shares in the area. I brought some boxes of NC beers that I wouldn't mind opening soon. Also curious to see about the KC area. Thanks for your input.
I don't know of any bottle shares either... I've been here since December from Wisconsin. I'm open to splitting bottles of beers to try... I've amassed a cellar in travels across 45 states (including North Carolina) and 9 provinces (enjoy more discovering underappreciated beers rather than chasing whales). It would have to be Sunday or Monday as those are the only days I have off. I was told the a place downtown does bottle shares on Wednesday nights but don't want to possibly get them in trouble (unsure of the laws here)... pm me for that. I can also offer insight into the area, as I searched through all the beer blogs and did the circuit already over several weekends. Whether you're into arcades and beer, movies and beer, breweries, historic bar rooms the metro has a lot to offer. I'd offer places to eat but you may have a different perspective on what is good considering you are from the Carolinas.
