Anyone do bottle shares in Greater Seattle area?

Just moved out here from Las Vegas and came from a group that did weekly shares. Looking for people, a group, or a place that does shares.

I have a bunch of beers I would like to share every once in a while.

The only business I know of that hosts shares is The Beer Authority a ways north of Seattle proper. Other than that, various people host shares every now and then. I'm not aware of any regular weekly/monthly shares, but would be interested in doing them more often. I can also host every now and then (N Capitol Hill).

Welcome to Seattle! Which neighborhood are you living in?

I'm down to get in on a share as well. Moved to the eastside over a year ago and haven't had a bottleshare since.

I have. Too. Many. Beers. I travel a decent amount and always come back with some interesting goods.

I'm up for periodic or regular shares.

Im east side...Bellevue. Not much around me. I don't mind traveling too far. Just figured with Seattle would have a lot of good places to share

Somewhat off topic, but I think it would be really awesome to set up a 'tri-annual' share amongst Vancouver (Canada), Seattle, and Portland. 3 events, 1 in each city rotating every 4 months.

I'm going to talk with a few people on Monday and try to get some space for a tasting. I'll post on here what I can find out.

LumpkinBrews and OctupusPrim, we should get together in Bellevue sometime. I would love to include others too because it seems there is a need for friendly shares in that I-90 and I-5 area!

I'm interested too. I'd bring a few homebrews as well.

I too live in Bellevue. Haven't gotten to have a good bottle share since I moved out here over a year ago. There was a regular one in Austin every month and then smaller ones all the time, but it didn't really seem like people out here put them together all that often. I would definitely love to attend one schedule permitting (I work an extremely weird schedule).

Another thing I haven't done since I moved from CA! I miss the hell out of it! Down for a brewing/bottleshare for sure!

    What's your schedule like?
Geaux rents their taproom for 150 bones. 3 hours during the week. This is a great price if we eventually can get 15+ people. Seems like right now we have a solid group of 5, maybe 10 if I include significant others?

I work 9pm-7am Wed-Sat, so I can only really do stuff on my weekends (Sun-Tues). Normally most of the bottle shares I went to were just at peoples places, though the regular one was at a bar that was cool with us doing it. That said I'm totally down to split the rental if its on a day I can manage.

I was looking at this: http://www.geauxbrewing.com/brewery/page15/index.html

and now I'm drooling. I wonder how much more it costs for food lol. Gumbo and beer sounds soooo goood. Haven't gotten to eat some good Gumbo in like 2 years.

Anyway, I probably have 1-2 coworkers who would be interested in coming as well. Their cellars aren't nearly as deep as mine, but they still have some good stuffs.

What kinda tasting are you thinking? Just standard fare, or rare stuff, or both? (I really hope sours are included regardless lol) I have a reasonable amount of stuff for any of the above. I can probably also manage to get some stuff sent out from Texas if we don't do it too soon.
