Don't know the area too well but Lake Cook road is not very pedestrian friendly. Is 2.3 miles walkable? Don't know the quality of this store (World-Wide Liquors) but seems doable.

Liquor Barn on Dundee and Milwaukee. Not really walkable (would take like 45 minutes to an hour). Only a 10 minute drive though.

Evolution Wine & Spirits on Pfingsten and Dundee. Much smaller than Liquor Barn, less than 10 minutes drive.

There isn't going to be anything walkable. That Hyatt is in the middle of a commercial area next to the Interstate. Not much there but offices and warehouses surrounded by residential.

There is also Binny's on Lake Cook and Mc Henry. Maybe about 15 minutes drive. My advice would be to find someone who can drive or get a cab and just hit a few places.

That's kind of a tough area to find anything - it's mostly commercial parks and residential around there. To find much in the way of shopping (of any kind) you'd need to go east towards Waukegan Rd. or west to Milwaukee Ave. - probably 1.5 miles whichever way you choose. Closest place off the top of my head would be Liquor Barn over at Milwaukee and Dundee which has a decent selection. I live in the next town over and don't hang out in that part of Deerfield, so hopefully there some smaller places I am overlooking that you could walk to.

Good idea. I believe there is a sidewalk almost the entire way as well, so it's pedestrian-friendly.

I will only be in town for one night. If people I am traveling with are up for a ride then sky is the limit. If not I may be up for a long walk. I used to live in Vernon Hills and from what I remember LC Red is like a hwy but thought there were big sidewalks Are Daisy Cutter or Outlaw easy finds? I am pretty sure we are getting dinner at DC Sarnies any opinions. Thanks for info.

Like others have said you have Liquor Barn if you drive towards Wheeling and Binny's if you make a left on Lake Cook. The Whole Foods is the closest but I find the selection very meh. Grab a $14 cab to Binnys

    Here is 303 Taxi's number: 847 588 0303

Some people prefer American Taxi but 303 has a real person dispatcher that saves you like 10 minutes of prompting.

The Binny's on Skokie in Highland Park is a pretty good one.

Yes they are. If similar to other Whole Foods stores I've frequented, the one in Deerfield should have one (more likely DC of the two), if not both.

You could always walk to binnys then take a cab back.

The Hyatt should have a shuttle. Go to Binny's. They should know where to go.

On Tueday the WF had Outlaw but no Daisy Cutter. No Half Acre at all.
