Your best bet right downtown is going to be Whole Foods Lamar, pretty great selection and they offer growler fills as well. Probably about a 15min walk for you.

As far as actual bottle shops... the next best, distance-wise would be East 1st Grocery on Cesar Chavez, great selection and service! WhichCraft is great too, but a bit further south on Lamar.

WhichCraft isn't far from downtown and is one of best bottleshops in town. Great selection and staff.

Craft Pride on Rainey street sells to go. One of the top tap rooms in the city. So, kill 2 birds with one stone. If you are super lazy, there is All American Liquors about 1-2 blocks from Hyatt Place that will have some local beers.

Go see Sam at East 1st market if you can.
