I will be supplying the beer for a family event in Saint Augustine this fall, and was hoping I could be pointed in the direction of a few accommodating shops with a good selection of both local, and national breweries. I will be looking to pickup approximately 10-12 cases (240-288 beers) so if there are any shops that sell by the case that would make things easier. Additionally, having the ability to put together an order for me in advance would be crucial.

I am aware of ABC liquors, but before committing I wanted to hear what the locals had to say. Who has the best selection, who keeps the freshest stock, who has the best prices, etc.

Also, if anyone has any recommendations for local beers please feel free to mention them. I am aiming to put together a nice mix of Witbier, Farmhouse, Pils, Pale Ale, and IPA.

    Thanks

@untitledeuphoria, there are a bunch of threads on beers in the JAX area. Also, you can sort the bottle shops, etc., that are found here -- Places (in top nav bar) >> Florida >> (city where you're going) -- by rating.

Broudy's may be your best bet. They have multiple locations in St. Augustine/Jax and you can place an order online. Friendly staff and a great selection. Hope that helps!

Thanks for mentioning Broudy's, I might use them for some cross shopping, or some last minute in town pickups if I end up running low. It seems that if prices are equal, my best bet might be to place an order with Beer30, at first glance it appears they have the best selection of the styles I am looking for.

Now only if Aardwolf would start canning so I could drink Hipster Popsicle all day long on the beach.

The Broudy's at the cobblestone plaza is the best bottle shop in northeast Florida hands down. The rest of the Broudy's are meh, but that one is really awesome. The store manager is a huge beer lover, super friendly, and always has a great selection of whatever you need including rare and hard to find stuff.

Since OP requested info regarding canned offerings, IPA: Intuition I-10 hands down. Blonde ale (kind of close to requested) - Veterans United Raging Blonde (pretty decent). You will find some of the others in bottle / Tap (growler) offerings, be sure to bring growlers to head to the breweries. ABC on San Jose has a good growler station too. Post to this close to the time and I can steer you in the right direction for what to get on tap.
