Can someone recommend some bottle shops between LAX and Santa Barbara? I am heading there on a business trip from Texas and will only be in town for one night next month.

    Thanks!

curious what your itinerary is. in sb for one night, then back? that's pretty hectic if so

if you can squeeze it in, and are passing through during their open hours, check out El Segundo Brewing. the closest brewery to LAX, great IPAs

Beverage Warehouse is fairly close to LAX. You might also want to check out the Whole Foods in Playa Vista.

A lot of my traveling for work is like that. I had a trip where I flew into SB, had a meeting in Oxnard all day and flew out of LAX that evening. Not the most fun trips ever, but so it goes.

    Appreciate the recommendations.

Yeah, these are not the most fun trips...and it puts me back home extremely late. If I can finish up in SB early, maybe I can hit up El Segundo before I have to be at the airport.

beware that traffic from SB back down to LAX will be horrific, unless you're leaving in the morning / mid day

There is a 5:37 and a 6:27 flight back, so I'll probably take one of those. Should give me time for 4 hours in the morning for my meeting, drive time, and a little bit of goofing off time.
