Hey Denver folk, My buddy lives 2 miles east of the Denver zoo and is driving out to SLC on Monday. He's not a drinker so I'm looking for suggestions on some good bottle shops by him. Thanks!
Grape Expectations Wine & Spirits should be right by you. 2270 Kearney St, Denver, CO 80207. Cake Crumbs is also a really good bakery/coffee shop right next door. You might have to fight off a kid or two though.
Grape expectations is a great little shop and very nice people but a smaller selection . If your friend is not a beer drinker and you are not sure what you want, I highly recommend he swing into Mr Bs. The better location is in ballpark, and not that out of the way for him. But, if he does not want to deal with heading down town, there is a location at Stanley market place. The staff at either can lead him to some great beers for you if he tells them that you are looking for beers not in UT and styles you like. Most helpful staff in Denver in my opinion. If you already know what you want, Argonaut will do and is easy to get to from the area. Any of those locations is under 15 minutes drive

Thanks for the suggestions folks!...My buddy was able to snag me some prairies (Bombs, Pe-kans and B-day Bombs) at grape expectations as well as a couple other surprises.
