Salud, Good Bottle, Brawley's and Total Wine on Park Road have the largest/best selection. The Beer Growler on South has a pretty solid selection of growlers as well. Good luck @Gamecocks1 and War Eagle!

If you are staying in the Ballantyne area, add Vintners Wine Market to the list (great tap list as well). Otherwise, the above list covers it.

A Charlotte beer trip is not a Charlotte beer trip unless you make the Brawleys/Duckworths stop. The are basically a block from one another and both "must stop" places.

Good Bottle is my favorite spot in Charlotte, but all the shops are listed above are good (although I've not been to the Vintners Wine Market...yet!)

Brawleys is a must, if you only go one place make it Brawleys

The Bulldog on park rd is a good spot too. They also usually have bulldogs roaming around the store which is a plus

You cannot miss Salud - the best selection, the deepest beer knowledge and some of the friendliest people in town!

No need to go to the bulldog, seeing your name, you've watched their "selection" get beat year after year, and their bulldogs are always either lying around uninterested ooooor getting arrested....also how has no one gotten the name Gamecocks1 on this website?! Kudos to you my friend...Kudos!!

Sorry to jump in....All stores mentioned are fantastic....! Lots of good stuff out right now!

Thank for the info! I'm actually headed down to Charlotte on Friday for the 2nd & 3rd round NCAA Tournament games, and was about to research best bottle shops.

    GO HOOS!!!

Not to put too fine a point on it, but with the tournament days being Friday and Sunday, Salud is having their 3rd anniversary party on Saturday, which always promises to have some hard to find taps and a pretty great crowd!

I'm hesitant to list it and risk others learning about it, but Rhino Market on West Morehead is fast becoming my goto spot. What it lacks in volume it makes up for in quality, with the best of what is currently available in our distro. And they usually have the hard-to-find stuff for days/weeks after everyone makes a run on the places you've mentioned. Damn quality draft selection too.

Deserving of a mention for sure, and for folks coming I'm to town 1-2 weeks after a big release, the place to go to find it still on the shelf.
