I will be in town a few days for business staying close to convention center. Any bottle shops close by that are worth visiting? I won't have a car so my range is limited.

UberX is your friend, then the world is your oyster.

Outside of downtown, I think was the point. Not much in the way of good bottle shops in that area. Zipps would be a good choice that is not too far away.

Welcome to Mpls! If you're looking for Surly, Haskell's downtown will have everything, including Abrasive that's a couple months old. The Whole Foods downtown does a very nice job as well. Nothing too rare stays on the shelf, but almost all regionals are available and occasionally you'll find some overlooked beers. Those are the two main stops within walking distance.

Thanks for the link, I was sure that there was a list somewhere but sometimes it's hard to tell if this place is closer than that place or if it's worth the drive/uber to something a little further. That's where asking the locals comes in, cheers man!

    Thanks for the recommendations, cheers!

Lunds is downtown too and may be a bit closer to your hotel than some of these other places. Liquor store is behind the grocery store.

I second Lunds. Their prices are a bit weird. Some things are way too high, other things seem low, but very good selection. Some limitedish type stuff hangs around a little longer. Which means some of their IPAs are older (1/23/2015 Abrasive as of Wed).
