bottle shops / good bars near Holden Beach

    Headed that way from Columbus (OH) for a week & was looking/ hoping for something not too far from there. I'm not expecting much, I know it's a way from any major city, but any info helps!

    There's really not much in that area. This recent thread on Sunset Beach applies to Holden as well. You might be better off hitting some places on the way down.

    Wilmington to the north and Myrtle Beach (SC) to the south are the closest places with anything decent - and neither is that close.....
