Hey all, So my sister is stationed at Elmendorf AFB in Anchorage, and I'm thinking of trying to convince her to send me some sweet Alaskan brews, namely ones from Anchorage Brewing and Midnight Sun. What are some good bottle shops I can tell her to look out for? Thanks.
My top 2 stores that I have been to are: #1: La Bodega http://labodegastore.com/ And number 2 would be the Brown Jug warehouse. there are many Brown Jug locations but I think the best one would be the warehouse - 4140 Old Seward Highway. Bonus: La Bodega (on Benson) and the warehouse are literally less than one mile away from each other.
My thoughts exactly. Gold Rush and Anchorage Wine House (Huffman) are good as well. But you can find everything you will likely want at Bodega and the BJ Warehouse.
I'd also add that occasionally there are some bottles at Midnight Sun that I've not seen out in the wild. I don't think they do this too often, but it's worth swinging by there to look.
