I will be in Brooklyn this weekend and would like to hit up some bottle shops. I will be mostly in Park Slope/South Slope area but will be in the East Village as well. I know of Bierkraft and Eagle Provisions in Brooklyn and the Bowery/Houston St. WF near the East Village. Any others I should check out?

New Beer, down Chrystie St. from the WF Beer Room. Great spot.

New Beer Dist. is surely recommended, but Eric do keep in mind that they don't have air conditioning. All the hoppy suds I've purchased there in the past have been questionable. Get your hops at the Bowery Whole Foods. Stick to sours, stouts, etc at NBD.

Ah, thanks for letting me know. Shame I never got the chance to get there when I was last in Brooklyn. Love the bar though.

I have no idea how they stayed open so long. The bar is nice though as is Fette Sau across the street. There are quite a few new bottle shops in the hood if the OP is interested in heading north to Willburg. I can think of 2 that have opened in the past 6 weeks alone that are far more pleasant than SD grocery ever was.
