Bottle shops in De

Stateline Liquors in Elkton, MD (right on the Delaware line) is the best bottle shop around. It is massive and they get some really nice stuff. Check it out and see if the little detour is worth it, they have a list of all their beers on their website.

 

State line is awesome, but not really on the way to the beach, but Premier Wine and Spirits on Lime Stone Rd shouldn't be too far out of the way. They have a decent selection, but it doesn't compare to State Line.

 

Depending how far down Route 1 you're going, Atlantic Liquors in Rehoboth.

 

@Philthe Are you heading down I95 through Wilmington? If so, I would recommend stopping at Kreston Liquors. It's right off of the highway at the 202 exit.

If not, Kreston also has a shop in Middletown. It's on Rt. 299, just off of Rt. 1 on your way to the beaches.

 

Hit up R&L Liquors in Lewes when you get down to the beaches. I had blast there last month.

 

Atlantc and Outlet Liquors, both just a bit north of Rehoboth but south of Lewes. Solid selections if you have the for just one hit Atlantic.

 

I was at Outlet Liquors last week. I was very surprised to find more Mispillion River at the tiny liquor store in Dewey than at Outlet.

 

Used to swear by Cape Wine and Spirits the first one you'll hit just after the Home Depot. Atlantic is next-now my go to. Outlet is further down-they do growlers.

 

Kreston in Middletown is the way to go. 5 minutes off of Rte 1 and a good selection.
