Bottle shops in Middlesex County New Jersey?

    I'll be going to a wedding in Cranbury NJ at the end of April and was looking for any good shops to pick up beers I might not be able to find down here in North Carolina. Anyone have suggestions on places to visit or beers to try?

    The Cranbury Buy-Rite on 130 North is your best bet in the area.

    If you are actually in Cranbury and not looking for a drive, then the Buy Rite is your place as mcsauter82 stated.

    But as far as other Bottle Shops in Middlesex Co. there are a few good ones.
    Market Place Liquors on Rt. 18 in East Brunswick
    Wine World also on 18 in E. Brunswick
    Joe Canals in Iselin/Woodbridge (also has growler fills)

    But if you are really looking for good stuff you can't get in NC, head east from Cranbury to Kane in Ocean and take home a growler or 2 of some of their great beers.

    Further south about 3-4 miles, on the same north side of Rt. 130 as Cranbury BuyRite, is a branch of the Bottle King chain in East Windsor (in Mercer County), just north of the intersection with County 571.

    Usually better prices than C BR, a different but smaller selection of singles/bombers, sometimes fresher beer, because of different local distributors in some cases.

    The Joe Canals in Lawrenceville would be closer than going to the one in Iselin/Woodbridge. Their address is:

    Cranbury Buy-rite. Usually have some good beer for growlers. Also one of very few stores that sell Carton Boat Beer in cans. Ask for Ivan.
