I'll be in Midland Texas for the weekend to visit family who don't like craft beer. What are the good places to buy bottles? I have been to the Wine Rack on Loop 250 near Garfield (and will be going there this weekend) but are there any others?

My wife is heading to Midland next month - any suggestions where to send her?

Any chance of getting a crowler/growler of Live Oak or bottles of Jester King??

It's a long shot to get jk or live oak in midland. I've never found either there.

Wine Rack is about it. Pinkies has a small selection as well as HEB, but nothing to get too excited about. And you won't be finding any JK or Live Oak out there unless something has changed in the last 6 months or so.

Wine Rack stock was pretty limited. I don't know of any specific West Texas beers to look for but there wasn't anything I didn't recognize that I couldn't find in San Antonio. However, I did not have time to sit at the bar or peek at the taps. Didn't get a chance to stop at Pinkies or WB Liquor.

If you return to the area, The Cellar in Odessa has by far the best selection that I have seen in Midland/Odessa. Also, Market Street in Midland is decent too, better than pinkies/heb/wine rack. That said, The Cellar is definitely your best bet to find something worth getting excited about.
