There is a global chain called the "Beer Trading Post" that sells Cantillon in major cities throughout the world. Should be at least one in Munich. You guys have a couple in Philly where I get my Oettinger fix when I'm up that way.
Oettinger fix? I am shocked. Otherwise, (almost) zero Belgian beer in Germany, let alone Munich. Grab an Augustiner or any locally brewed lager and enjoy the scenery with Obatzda and a pretzel as big as your head.
Ok, thx, drank 6 liters,of,paulaner at,Oktoberfest, my head still hurts....doing it again tomorrow I wanted to bring some Belgians that I can't get in the motherland (Philly) home with me!
You won't have much luck. German beers only in Germany. There are a few exceptions here and there, but none in Munich that I know of. Enjoy Oktoberfest, and go Phillies, Eagles, um...Flyers?...how they doing this year?
Make at least one extra trip to Philly each year for it -- and some rarer Canadian and Mexican beers, too. Long way to travel, I admit, but it's worth it. Philly is a great city when it comes to those beers.
The one thing I miss the most about living in that area was my secret Kokanee hook-up. Man I hope the word hasn't gotten out about that place...
