Greetings, I'm making the trip to Portland from Spokane in 2weeks in pursuit of beer. The problem is I don't know where to get the good stuff... I plan on visiting Logsdon, Cascade, and Upright but want to bring up some bottles from areas I can't get... I.e. Prairie Ales, Crooked Stave, Russian River. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Two threads with the exact same title going right now, but your request is a little different from the other one. The locals might have other recommendations, but the last time I spent any amount of time in PDX it took me all of about 45 minutes to hit Belmont Station and Beermongers (fairly close together) and I managed to grab a bunch of stuff I couldn't get here in Seattle at the time. Belmont Station also maintains a reasonably current inventory, which is a handy resource before you go or while you're in the shop. I think they might have some kind of policy that favors cash over credit, but not totally sure about that. And, base prices are better in Oregon than in Washington, plus they prefer to tax their labor rather than our consumption. So take a van and stock up!
I know you're new and all Upheaval, but there are several currently running threads in this forum where you can post your question/request. Please go there...
