Are there any hidden gem bottle shops near Cortland or Ithica? Going out to Cortland to visit the In-laws and need some good choices.

Don't forget about Finger Lakes Beverage Center.

Finger Lakes Beverage Center is by far your best option for a bottle shop in Ithaca. Great selection!

Yep, it's Finger Lakes Beverage Center all the way. If you're headed up I-81 you might check out Sam the Beer Man in Binghamton. But FLBC is the place to go. Ithaca Coffee Co. (two locations... from Cortland you want Triphammer, not Gateway Plaza) is also good, but FLBC goes way out of their way to stock up on a much wider assortment.

Ithaca Coffee at both locations has a bar open after 4pm in the store-Triphammer store ( free tastings Wednesday 's 4-7pm) trumps Gateway location-excellent tap selection too. Triphammer store recently expanded retail craft beer space. Beer manager James is passionate about craft beer=-knows his stuff. Wegmans market in Ithaca has a great selection also. Visit Red Jug Tavern and Centro Hotel on Court St in Cortland. Three pints ( crafts included)for 5 bucks Fridays 4-9 pm at Red Jug on Court St. Cortland beer Co one block south in the old fire station has 10 tastings for a buck. pretty solid brews too.
