    Howdy FL BAers!

So, I'll be visiting Orlando for a family vacation to see the Mouse this month, and like any BA worth his salt, I have to hit a few respectable bottle shops while on vay-cay with the fam.

Any shops you recommend I not miss while in the area. My wife is running a pretty tight agenda, and I only ave about two hours to explore the Orlando area's finest establishments. Where should I hit?

Unfortunately Orlando is basically void of any decent craft bottle shops. Prepared to be underwhelmed. At least you can get a beer at Magic Kingdom now (althought Kronenburg isn't much to write home about).

Like listed above Knightly is a great option, also the Whole Foods off West Sand Lake Road is right off I-4 and has pretty good selection. It isn't too far from Disney and it's fairly easy to find, they even had Cigar City's Marshal Z on tap last time I was there.

One more vote for Knightly (the one on South Orange Blossom Trail) which is pretty much the best bottle shop in FL. They get most if not everything distro'd to FL and really the only thing your missing is going to CCB directly and buying stuff they have in. Florida doesn't seem to have the small nice shop every ten miles like Mass does (what I was used to before moving) but knightly can hold its own to any bottle shop in FL.

Word of caution - don't go at night... South OBT is not really the type of place you want to hang out/drive through/be anywhere near when the sun goes down.

Knightly... and the area that they are in is not that bad at all. It's everything between 528 and I4 that you need to look out for.

Thanks guys! I've heard Total Wine might be worth the stop as well. Sounds like knightly is the way to go though.

Hey guys thanks for the info here. I'm in the area with the family on vacation and wants to see if I could get anything not available in Chicago. Went to Total Wine first and was disappointed. Went to Knightly on orange blossom and found a couple of things. Thanks again for the reviews and recommendations!!

You're sorely mistaken... Total Wine, Whole Foods, and Knightly Liquors all have excellent selections. Heck, I just read that TW had Bell's Black Note for sale a few weeks back!

In college, I was consistently at the Knightly Liquors on Sand Lake Road after getting out of work at Disney World.

Total wine? Seriously? You need to come up to North Carolina and see what real bottle shops can offer you...

Is Knightly on Orange Blossom better than the one by Sea World? I was unimpressed by the one near Sea World. Thanks

Thanks a TON guys. Was able to swing my Knightly on OBT and while foods. Found a handful if treats to take home and share with the boys.

    Cheers to you all!

Does anyone know if any of the grocery stores that deliver have CCB/locals or anything good I cant get in MA? It's going to be a long week for me if I don't get my craft fix.

Knightlys is definitely the best one in that area. The other good bottle shops are all the way out by UCF :slight_frown:
