I grew up in the area there (the desert as it's known) but I don't make it back too often. However, I do know that there is a Total Wine in Palm Desert (not far), and there's a BevMo actually in La Quinta. Total Wine has a better selection and prices though some times BevMo will surprise you. My parents snagged me a couple of cases of Sucaba a few months ago.
