    Driving up 4 hours to pick up veritas and wondering where some good shops are near lost abbey. Thanks

    The closest is probably Holiday Wine Cellars in Escondido - a really good bottle shop. Pizza Port in Carlsbad has a limited selection but usually some pretty interesting stuff - and if you're going there, you might as well stop at Texas Liquor in Carlsbad.
