I'll be out there for a few days this week, and I"m wondering which shops to hit up. Just looking for some fun local stuff, not really whale hunting or anything. Also, anybody want anything from Colorado?

depends on what part of town you are in.

West End/Shortpump = Whole Foods, Total Wine (Broad St)
Downtown/Northside = Once Upon a Vine (MacAurthor St), Strawberry St Market
Southside/Midlothian = Total Wine (Midlothian Tnpk)

highly recommend stopping by Hardywood Park and Strangeways (breweries) and Mekong (bar)

TW is good but Once Upon A Vine and Corks&Kegs are the best bottle shops IMO

If you're going to go to Hardywood you should also stop in Isley brewing around the corner from Hardywood. They have a great chocolate peanut butter porter.
