I'm headed to Manheim PA tonight, and was wondering if they're any good bottle shops near tired hands? Heading over that way tomorrow afternoon to fill Growlers. Thanks in advance!
There's one in Ardmore that's decent. It's not going to knock your socks off but they have an okay selection. It's pretty pricey thought. I can't think of the name right now but it's in the same shopping center as the iron hill.
Isn't Manheim out near Harrisburg? That's probably 1 1/2 hours from Tired Hands. Do you maybe mean Pizza Boy? If you are going to Tired Hands, you'll probably be coming in on the Turnpike, it wouldn't be too far out of your way (and worth it) to head up to Capone's. If you do that, there is a Whole Foods right at the exit and on the way to Capone's that is worth the stop as well.
I was at Capone's last week. Expensive but great selection! I also went through the Whole Foods and thought the selection was ok, but not amazing. If I were you, I would stock up on growlers at Tired Hands and bottles/cans at Capones.
Yes Manheim is close to Harrisburg but I I'm going over to tired hands tomorrow afternoon. And yes I'm planning to fill several Growlers! But I'm also looking for bottles that I can't get up my way in Erie. Thanks for the suggestions
If you don't mind driving another half-hour, it's hard to beat the prices and selection at Beer Heaven. It's Philly, but on the outskirts, and right off 95. I was there today and found Cigar City Good Gourd! I didn't even know they distributed that outside of Florida. But Beer Heaven tends to get the rares (if anyone in SEPA does).
